TheBusinessDesk.com is hosting its next Harrogate Business lunch at Hotel de Vin, with guest speaker Mark Garrett managing director of Clearpoint Recycling.
Our last networking lunch in Harrogate was a sellout with almost 70 people from the business community across the region attending. With demand once again predicted to be high for the event on 30 April, we advise you to book early.
Guests will hear from Mark who is spearheading the Harrogate-based firm’s European expansion.
Since joining Clearpoint Recycling, Mark has focused the business on service delivery and operational efficiency, giving Clearpoint Recycling the tools to add value in the global recycling supply chain.
Earlier this year the company confirmed its expansion into Europe with the opening of a dedicated sales office in the EU member state Lithuania.
It was a significant milestone for the Harrogate-based company, which has seen a 20% year-on-year increase in sales volumes.
An advocate for people-driven technology implementation, his goal is to leverage AI and automation in businesses of any size to empower individuals to add value in the area’s computers lack – building relationships, understanding personal motivations, and developing creative collaboration.
In his spare time, Mark is chairman of Harrogate Rugby Club, navigating the challenges of a community rugby club in delivering rugby to more than 500 members while fielding a senior team in level 4 of the England Rugby pyramid.
Mark is passionate about the values of rugby union – teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The lunch will take place on April 30 from noon to 3pm at Hotel du Vin, 11 Prospect Place, Harrogate. Click here to book a place.
