Business community invited to Leeds carol service

MEMBERS of the business community are invited to attend a carol service in Leeds today.

Calendar News presenter Christine Talbot and a brass quintet from the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service will join Leeds Cathedral Children’s Choir to provide festive cheer at the service at Leeds Cathedral at lunchtime.

The business community and the general public of Leeds are all invited to the annual carol service, hosted by the West Yorkshire Society of Chartered Accountants.

The celebration of Christmas will start at 1.15pm and finish at 2pm and will include a collection for St Gemma’s Hospice.

As well as Ms Talbot, the Lord Mayor of Leeds Coun James McKenna, David Parkin, Editor of TheBusinessDesk.com, and Elizabeth Baxter from St Gemma’s Hospice will join Tim Parr, president of WYSCA ccountants for the traditional carol service readings. Cathedral Dean the Rev Mgr Philip Moger will lead the service.
