Begbies names new FD

AIM-listed business advisers Begbies Traynor Group has confirmed Nick Taylor as finance director.

The insolvency specialist, with offices across Yorkshire, said Mr Taylor, 39, had now joined its board.

He joined the business in November 2007 as financial controller and has served as acting finance director since August this year.

Mr Taylor, a chartered accountant, qualified with KPMG in Manchester. He previously held senior finance roles in United Utilities and its former subsidiary Vertex Data Science.

Executive chairman Ric Traynor said: “Nick has proved to be a dedicated and committed financial controller who has made the transition to the role of finance director with ease.  I look forward to working with Nick over the coming years.”
