Latest Appointments: Sales team boosted at Leeds Building Society, Promotions at Beachcroft and more

LEEDS Building Society has strengthened its marketing team with a series of promotions.
Kim Rebecchi has been appointed as director of sales and marketing whilst Martin Richardson assumes the position of general manager-marketing and business development, and Nigel Wray takes over the role of head of marketing.
Ms Rebecchi will maintain her existing responsibility for the Society’s branch network, call centre, intermediary sales and overseas operationss.
She said: “This revised structure will enable Martin and Nigel to bring their extensive experience of Leeds Building Society and the wider market to assist the marketing team to help deliver our Corporate Objectives.
“Martin and Nigel have a wealth of experience in financial services and will continue to move our business forward.”

COMMERCIAL law firm, Beachcroft, has announced five promotion at its Leeds-based office.
These promotions include the appointment of four new partners and a new associate.
Will Potts, Robert McGough, Ian Cooper and Peter Merchant have all become partners whilst Daniella McGuigan has been promoted to associate.
Glenn Miller, regional senior partner in Leeds said: “Despite the challenging economic climate, we are continuing to grow our key business areas. For example, we have recently opened a new office in Dublin to serve some of our large insurer clients and expanded our Newcastle team.

HARROGATE-based public relations agency, Quest PR, have appointed a new account director.
Shona Nutter joined the firm from Ptarmigan, where she devised and drove national and regional campaigns for companies including Nestle, BMW Mini and Morrisons.
Managing director Sharon Cain said: “Shona’s experience across business-to-business and business-to-consumer campaigns complements our expansion delivering traditional and new media communications programmes across the North East and the UK.”

A SOUTH Yorkshire hotel is celebrating the appointment of a Michelin-starred chef to its restaurant.
Copthorne Hotel in Sheffield welcomed Daniel James to oversee its 100 seater restaurant and bar, 1855.
He joined the hotel from Copthorne Hotel in Cardiff and brings with him more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry.
