Nursing home bought out of administration

A YORKSHIRE nursing home has been bought out of administration by Country Court Care Homes, financed by Santander Corporate Bank and backed by European Investment Bank funding.
Sheffield-based Abbey Grange Nursing Home is an 87-bed nursing home providing elderly, residential, nursing and dementia care.
Country Court Care, run by the Kachra family, is well established history in the care sector, with seven nursing and care homes and a domiciliary care service in the South Lincolnshire and North Cambridgeshire area.
Abdul Kachra, chief executive of the Country Court Care Group, said: “Abbey Grange is a welcome addition to our stock of care homes and we look forward to returning it to its former success. Santander’s in depth understanding of both our business and the sector helped with the smooth completion of the deal. I look forward to working with Santander in the future.”
Ian Brown, relationship director for education, healthcare and communities at Santander, said: “Santander Corporate Banking is committed to supporting and building long-term relationships with strong, viable businesses such as Country Court Care.
“We are pleased to have been able to support the company’s expansion through our agreement with the European Investment Bank.”
