Premier Farnell CFO to stand down

THE chief financial officer of electronic components supplier Premier Farnell is to stand down.

Mark Whiteling will leave Leeds-based Premier Farnell in August to pursue a new career in the private equity sector.

Chief executive Harriet Green said: “Mark joined Premier Farnell in 2006 and has played an important part in the successful first phase of our strategic transformation.

“We thank him for his contribution and wish him well in the future.”

The company said it is now looking to recruit a replacement.
