Appointments: Clarion expands commercial team; Webster joins Neil Hudgell Law; and more

CLARION has added to its commercial team by welcoming associate Fiona Marr on board.
She joins from Scottish commercial law firm Harper Macleod and will be working on a range of commercial matters, including licensing agreements, supply agreements and tender documentation whilst also providing general commercial advice.
Ms Marr’s appointment follows the hire of Helen Gott last month as associate in the private client practice. The Leeds-based firm now has a 100 strong team including 19 partners.

NEIL Hudgell Law has recruited Tony Webster as business development manager.
The role is a new one for the firm, which has offices in Leeds and Hull and specialises in compensation claims for personal injury, medical accident and professional negligence.
Mr Webster has been working as a consultant to Neil Hudgell Law for the past ten months, carrying out strategic planning, staff engagement and marketing projects.
He will now be implementing the firm’s plans to expand rapidly through organic growth and acquisition of other personal injury law firms and case-loads.

AN associate solicitor from Yorkshire law firm Keeble Hawson has become an accredited member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.
Georgina Peckett, who became an associate with the firm last year, is a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University and the College of Law York.
In her clinical negligence work she specialises in all types of claims, including birth injury, orthopaedic injuries, fatal claims, surgical injuries and diagnosing errors and delays.
