ACCOUNTANCY firm Saffery Champness has appointed Mark Hunter to expand the audit and advisory capacity of its Yorkshire office.

ACCOUNTANCY firm Saffery Champness has appointed Mark Hunter to expand the audit and advisory capacity of its Yorkshire office.

Hunter rejoins the firm after six years during which he managed the Harrogate office of a Midlands-based accountants.

He returned to Saffery Champness in May and has spent the last six months on secondment to The Royal Bank of Scotland where he worked within the leveraged debt finance team.

As well as helping the team to secure a number of deals, he gained valuable insight into the funding process from a provider's viewpoint. He will be able to use this knowledge for the benefit of clients when advising them on financing options.
