Capital move for Better Placed Recruitment

SPECIALIST marketing, sales and HR recruitment firm Better Placed Recruitment (BPR) has launched a London office to build on its presence in the capital.
BPR, which has established offices in Leeds and Manchester, has appointed Andy McKell and Matt Brooks to underpin the London launch.
Mr McKell has joined from Michael Page International as head of the company’s marketing and sales division, while Mr Brooks has joined as head of the HR division having previously help senior positions with consultancies including Frazer Jones and accountancy firm PwC.
The London office will focus on marketing, sales and HR and has been opened following the growth of the company’s presence in the South East.
Mr McKell said: “Better Placed provides me with a platform to use my skills in developing a team in London and to create a greater presence for a brand that, from a distance, I have watched grow and indeed competed against for sometime.
“I now have an opportunity to be part of something exciting, challenging and highly rewarding as we build the Better Placed brand in the South East.“
Mr Brooks added: “The last couple of years have thrown HR some fascinating challenges and I’m looking forward to building a London presence with BPR that provides an excellent service to clients and candidates.”
The recruitment consultancy employs more than 20 staff and its clients include names such as Aviva, Barclays, Experian and HSBC.
It was established in 2002 by directors Dean Bartle, Simon Stephens and Andrew Gibson to focus on sales and marketing and the business expanded the brand with the launch of an executive brand, headed by Paul Bendelow, in 2006.
A Better Placed HR division was launched at the start of 2010.
