Sky’s the limit for leisure firm

A YORKSHIRE holiday park operator is to invest £500,000 in a caravan park it has acquired for £1.6m.
Wakefield-based Blue Sky Resorts has taken its caravan parks portfolio to three following the purchase of Springhouse Caravan Park in Slaley, Northumberland.
Springhouse Caravan Park was established in the 1960s and can accommodate up to 99 static caravans, touring caravans, motor homes and tents.
Blue Sky Resorts plans to invest £500,000 to upgrade the park's infrastructure and redevelop the existing caravan pitches and park's facilities.
Blue Sky's two other parks are Heathergate Country Park in Lowgate,Northumberland, and at Nostell Priory Holiday Park near Wakefield.
Funding for the deal was provided by Natwest commercial banking.

Blue Sky also specialises in assisting holiday park operators to maximise sales of holiday homes.
The company can provide websites, brochures, new and used stock and sales staff. It also has scope to make investments in ventures outside the leisure industry.
