Clugston appoints

CLUGSTON Group, the construction, distribution and property company has appointed Steve Radcliffe as managing director of its construction arm.

The 52-year-old joins Clugston Construction from Interserve Industrial Services where he was managing director.

A chartered civil engineer, Steve brings a proven track record in several major construction businesses, including 15 years with the project services division of Interserve where he was a divisional director.

Commenting on the appointment, Stephen Martin, the chief executive of Clugston Group, said: “I am delighted that Steve Radcliffe has agreed to join the company. He brings a wealth of experience and energy to the role. With his key abilities and experience he will help us achieve our strategic and operational goals and will build on the success of Clugston Construction.”

Steve Radcliffe succeeds John Burnett who has left the company after seven years heading up the construction division.

The privately-owned Clugston Group has turnover of £130m, is headquartered in Scunthorpe and has offices in Leeds, Peterborough and Washington.
