Clarion Solicitors puts in a strong performance

YORKSHIRE-based Clarion Solicitors has announced turnover of £6.3m in its first set of published accounts since becoming a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) in April 2008.

Despite the difficult marketing conditions which have seen many legal firms in the region contracting over the last 12 months, the firm has delivered better than expected results maintaining the same level of turnover as the previous year against market trends and growing its team from 53 to 59 fee earners/partners.

Mark Burns, the firm’s managing partner, said: “Our latest results show that the firm is outperforming the market given the current challenging commercial landscape.

“We are no longer ‘the newly established law firm’, but are continuing to deliver and move forward, serving a wide spectrum of both businesses and private individuals.”

He added: “In the two years since Clarion was established in its current form, we have built an experienced team of lawyers with a fresh, innovative approach who focus on building strong long-term relationships with clients.

“Our client base is continuing to expand and we are recruiting more lawyers, including at partnership level, as we expect the next six months to show significant growth.”

Clarion offers nine specialist units consisting of corporate and commercial, corporate recovery, private client, employment, property, dispute resolution, business crime and regulatory, family, and debt recovery.
