CHARTERED surveyor Eddisons has promoted five members of staff.

Antony Bailey, machinery and business assets, Paul Brustad, banking and insolvency, Jonathan O’Connor, agency, Robert Limbert, auctions, and David Wood, building and project consultancy, have been made associate directors.

Eddisons has offices in Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield.

Simon Davies, Dacre Son & Hartley's Harrogate branch managerSIMON Davies has been appointed as branch manager of Dacre Son & Hartley’s Harrogate office.

He will work alongside area director Paul Baxter and manage the sales team of four negotiators.

Mr Davies has successfully led other estate agency teams in the local area and is a Fellow of The National Association of Estate Agents.

Alison Jackson has joined the building consultancy team at Colliers International in LeedsTHE Leeds office of Colliers International has expanded  its building consultancy team with the appointment of Alison Jackson.

Ms Jackson, who graduated from Northumbria University in building surveying before working for Craven District Council, joins Colliers as graduate building surveyor.

The hire follows a string of appointments, including working with Siemens on its new wind turbine plant in Hull, providing building surveying services to Asda on its national distribution network, advising Bridon International on a new major rope manufacturing facility in Newcastle and ongoing repairs management for Meadowhall Shopping Centre.

Heather Roberts, McCormicksA COMMERCIAL property specialist has been appointed by Harrogate-based McCormicks Solicitors.

Solicitor Heather Roberts brings expertise in a range of commercial property matters.

She has worked for leading national and regional firms and has experience of sales and purchases, landlord and tenant matters, asset management, development and property litigation.

Her clients have included developers, retailers, portfolios, banks, institutions and trusts, and names including Sainsbury’s, Meadowhall, Netto and Card Factory.

Richard Standeven joins Ryden's property management group in LeedsRYDEN’S property management group in Leeds has welcomed Richard Standeven to the team.

Most recently, he worked with Barnsley Council as a student surveyor after graduating last year from Sheffield Hallam University in property development and real estate.

He will work alongside associate Sue Wharton and Sonia Johnson, portfolio administrator.

Also joining the team in Leeds is placement student Dan Smith who will be based in the building consultancy group.

He has joined from Taylors Business Surveyors and has 12 years’ professional experience.
