Communisis names new group commercial director

LEEDS-based print solutions firm Communisis has appointed John Wells as group commercial director.

Mr Wells will be responsible for both the group’s sourcing activities and for its commercial strategy particularly concerning major client relationships.

Peter Hickson, Communisis’ chairman, said: “I would like to welcome John to the Communisis board and we look forward to benefiting from having additional executive weighting in our boardroom discussions.

The announcement comes a few days after Andy Blundell, formerly the company’s sales director, took over the role of chief executive following Steve Vaughan’s decision to step down.

Mr Hickson added: ” I would also like to thank Steve for his contribution to the company’s progress over the past three years. We all wish him well.”
