Appointments: Double hire for Callcredit; New GM at Queens Hotel; and more

CALLCREDIT Marketing Solutions has appointed Nigel Costello as head of propositions and Neil Vincent as insight manager.

Mr Costello will help Leeds-based Callcredit develop marketing strategies while Mr Vincent has been brought on board to develop segmentations, models and other analytical services to help clients better understand and communicate with their customers.

HOTELS group QHotels has recruited Ivar van Diepen as the new general manager of the Queens Hotel in Leeds.

Mr van Diepen, who has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, joins The Queens from the Sheffield Park Hotel where he had been general manager since  2004.

He also held previous management positions with the Leeds Park Plaza, the Hilton Leeds Garforth, the Hilton Huddersfield, the Balmer Lawn Hotel, Brockenhurst, the Hilton, Swindon and a number of other hospitality positions in both the UK and the Netherlands.

CHEVIOT Asset Management has expanded its UK team with a senior appointment based in Leeds.

Fraser Wilkinson, who has joined Cheviot as an investment director from Deutsche Bank, will be based in the city and focus on clients located east of the Pennines.

A member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, he has ten years sector experience and specialises in discretionary management of client portfolios.

Cheviot has recently opened its first office outside London in Liverpool, a move which has established a team on the ground to cover the north of the UK.
