Businesswomen invited to get into the swing of 2010

A WOMEN’S golf networking group is inviting professional businesswomen to make 2010 the year they improve their game by joining.

The group, which was set up by Leeds-based Clarion Solicitors, aims to give women the opportunity to network with other female golfing enthusiasts.

Meetings during winter months are at the driving range but head out onto the course either for lessons with the professionals or for nine holes after work as the light improves.

Julia Pearson, associate at Clarion, said: “We’re a very informal, relaxed group – all we ask is that members have played some golf before and have their own equipment.

“The aim is to socialise, make some useful contacts and also to enjoy a well-earned game of golf.”

She added that the group was planning a full 18 hole ladies golf day in the summer and that interested players could start brushing up their skills by joining now.
