Leeds hotel part of £25m development set to launch

The Dakota Deluxe Leeds hotel, part of Evans Property Group’s £25m Bond Court investment, is set to launch on 1 May.

The boutique hotel is the fourth from the Dakota Group, driven by Ken McCulloch, founder of Malmaison Hotels.

Located between Russell and Greet Street, the hotel was designed by interiors specialist Amanda Rosa. It has a brasserie-style Bar & Grill and Salon Privé, a cocktail bar with a first floor terrace on Greek Street.

Ken McCulloch said; “It is great being back in Leeds and it’s time that Leeds had a luxury hotel because the city deserves it.”

“The majority of time spent working away from home is always grudged and so we wanted to create a very special experience.”

Roderick Evans, managing director of Evans Property Group, said; “Having worked with Dakota for over a decade now, we have formed a strong relationship and we are incredibly excited to be launching this destination hotel in our home city.”

Extensive public realm and landscaping works amounting to around £1m have been undertaken in the Bond Court area.
