Golf resort snapped up by holiday park operator

A Welsh holiday park operator has acquired Yorkshire golf resort and lodge The KP Club in Pocklington.

Darwin Leisure Property Fund has bought the site, which will become part of the Darwin Escapes portfolio.

The North Wales firm takes on KP Club as its 20th park, situated near Pocklington, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds.

The KP Club has been developed to provide a boutique holiday lodge park and an 18-hole golf course.

It is also a popular wedding and conference venue comprising of 34 letting lodges,and two restaurants, The GlassHouse and The Vale of York.

The KP Club has been sold by its private owners for an undisclosed sum.
