Former lighting factory in West Yorkshire sold

LED lighting company the LPA Group has sold its former lighting factory in Normanton, West Yorkshire.

The company sold the site for £530,000, which it says will be reflected in its results for the half year ended March 2017.

It moved to a new facility and said that manufacturing is operating normally.

The company said that progress continues “at pace, if not a full-blown gallop” with record orders entered at £14.8m and record sales of £10.8m being achieved during the first half.

It was also selected to supply connection systems to China, for re-export on a significant project in Australia.
