Pirates of the Caribbean themed bar to celebrate latest film release

The Light in Leeds is giving fans the opportunity to celebrate the arrival of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales with a themed weekend of events.

The UK’s favourite pirate movie is returning to our screens this month when it launches at cinemas on May 26, and Shipwreck Cove will be open from 6.30pm that day, as it launches on the lower ground floor unit next to Nandos, with two-for-one cocktails, canapés and pirate themed entertainment.

From Dead Man’s Chest’s to Pirate Punches, there is a cocktail for everyone, created by the Caribbean experts at Turtle Bay.

Shipwreck Cove will be offering treasure hunts, face painting and a giant pirate ship sandpit from 12pm until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Live evening performances from Pantasy Steel Band will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 6pm until 9pm.

Stephanie James, marketing manager at The Light said: “Pirates of the Caribbean is a highly-anticipated movie for this year, we’re looking forward to hosting a fantastic weekend of events with something for everyone, day or night.”
