Six restaurants launched at Leeds shopping centre

The White Rose Shopping Centre has topped a successful month following the opening of a major Next flagship store with the launch of six new restaurants at The Village.

Five restaurants have been opened as part of its 65,000 sq ft extension, with another restaurant, Wagamama, to open on 10 July.

Food court extension The Village now includes Pizza Hut, TGI Friday’s, Five Guys, Chiquito, and Limeyard.

Côte-owned Limeyard has chosen White Rose for its first outlet in the north and third location in the country, offering an all-day American-style dining experience, while Pizza Hut Restaurants is opening its first Hut in six years in The Village.

The development will be joined by an outdoor children’s play area later this summer and an 11-screen IMAX Cineworld multiplex towards the end of the year, offering the full ‘day-out’ experience for White Rose customers.

White Rose has recently welcomed a Next store, which saw £6m investment to create the brand’s Yorkshire flagship site.

Steven Foster, general manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “We’re delighted to open The Village and welcome six new restaurants to White Rose.

“The forthcoming addition of our outdoor playground area and IMAX Cineworld will further solidify White Rose as an ultimate day-out destination. We’re really proud to introduce The Village.
