Leeds developer signed on to £8bn framework

Housing developer Lovell has been appointed by the Homes and Communities Agency to its £8bn housing delivery panel.

As a partner, Leeds-based lovell will be eligible to bid for contracts to deliver new-build homes on public sector land.

The housing types up for grabs include properties for sale, affordable housing and starter homes, as well as extra care housing and homes for rent.

The four-year Delivery Partner Panel 3 framework covers the whole of the UK apart from London.

In North East Yorkshire and the Humber, DPP3 is expected to generate housing contracts totalling £1.6bn over the next four years.

As an established partnership housing developer, Lovell has wn placed on two previous partner panels.

Lovell managing director Jonathan Goring said: “Our appointment to all five geographical regions of DPP3 underlines Lovell’s nationwide strength and the company’s impressive record of working with partner organisations to deliver the new homes which England so urgently needs.

“We look forward to continuing to work with the HCA and our other public sector partners to help tackle the housing shortage through the development of modern, high-quality homes, as well as using our regeneration expertise to undertake improvements for existing housing stock.”
