Severe delays on M62 West Yorkshire

The M62 eastbound between  J25 (Brighouse, A644, Huddersfield (A62)) and J26 (Bradford, M606, Halifax, A58) has all lanes closed due to a collision next to Hartshead Moor services.

Traffic is being diverted around the incident via the services. As a result there are currently severe delays on the M62 westbound between J24 and J26. Drivers are experiencing a delay of one hour above normal journey times.

Highways England warned drivers to consider alternative routes if possible or to delay their journey until the incident has cleared and traffic conditions have eased.
