Leon Pryce to host Rugby League World Cup lunch in Leeds

Rugby league star Leon Pryce will be the guest speaker at TheBusinessDesk.com’s Rugby League World Cup sporting lunch next month.
Leon is one of the most decorated players in Super League history having won four Super League titles, five Challenge Cups and three World Club Challenge titles in almost 500 appearances at the top level.
He was a key player in two of Super League’s best-ever teams – winning the treble with Bradford Bulls in 2003 and St Helens in 2006 – and is one of only three players in the modern era to win the man of the match awards in the Grand Final and Challenge Cup Final.
While on tour with Great Britain in 2006 Leon told the Australian media “I’d rather be on Blackpool beach than Bondi beach” – and followed that up by being part of the team that won a Test match in Australia for the first time in 14 years.
Now England fans will hope history can repeat itself in the opening match of the Rugby League World Cup, on Friday, October 27. Feel free to join us at Bibis from 10am to watch the game on the big screen.
The sporting lunch then gets underway properly from 12pm, with business networking, followed by lunch and then Leon Pryce reliving the highs and lows of his long, and sometimes controversial, career.
