Heating solutions business sold

Sheffield firm HeatLink has been sold to Wigan-based Rothwell Plumbing Services.

The business comprises of HeatLink Technical Solutions and HeatLink Client Services. Heatlink Technical Solutions was formed in 2004 by  Alan Barber to provide a services to the HAVC industry; designing and producing heat interface units.

HeatLink Client Services was  established in 2010 to provide a meter reading and billing service. Over the years HeatLink has built a reputable name in its industry and has major residential property developer and management companies as customers.

It is a transaction that will see the business look to grow. Of the transaction process, Barber said:  “When we made the decision to sell our business we had no idea how to go about it at all.”

Poonam Kaur, managing director of fds Director Services,  Wakefield, led the transaction. The deal was headed by  Kaur, who worked alongside Roger Dyson, head of hlw Keeble Hawson’s corporate team and and hlw Keeble Hawson solicitor, Henry Hill.

Kaur said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and as a result built a close relationship with the former owners of HeatLink. I am so pleased we have sold the Company to candidates the owners are confident will continue the high-level of service and take HeatLink to the next level.”
