Kitchen design studio cooks up relocation

North Leeds-based kitchen design studio Arlington Interiors is relocating to showroom premises in Farsley, between Leeds and Bradford.

After more than 13 years of trading from its current showrooms in Limewood Road in Seacroft, Arlington Interiors is moving to the iconic Sunny Bank Mills complex.

Head designer Hayley Reid said: “When the opportunity arose to take over a newly refurbished 4,000 sq ft retail unit in the old textile mill Sunny Bank Mills, we felt it was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.”

Established in 1829, Sunny Bank Mills had a reputation as one of the finest cloth producers in the world. Since 1917 it has been owned by the Gaunt family, and is now run by the sixth generation of Gaunt, cousins John and William.

Sunny Bank Mills has previously been a set for the filming of Emmerdale and Heartbeat, and since 2010 has undergone a multi-million regeneration into a base for a number of artistic and creative businesses.
