Law firm rradar has relocated its Leeds office to Bruntwood’s Platform building as it gears up for further growth in 2018.

The firm was launched in Hull in 2012 with 10 employees and reporting a year-end turnover of £800,000.

It now has additional offices in Leeds and Glasgow, employs more than 100 staff, and is estimating turnover of £5m for 2017.

Mark Smith, rradar’s IT director, said: “Leeds is a fast-growing location for rradar; since we established our original office there in 2016 we have more than tripled the size of the team and we need a new space from January 2018 that can support our rate of growth.”

rradar has also attracted a grant from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership for its business growth plans in the area and move to its newly refurbished 4,500sq ft space in the Platform.

Gary Gallen, CEO of rradar, said: “We are trying to build a different sort of culture and environment for our lawyers and other colleagues.”

Expansion plans are growing outside of Yorkshire too as Gallen also said: “We’re also increasing capacity in our Glasgow office and there are plans to open three other offices at significant UK locations in the next six months.”
