Business journalist to host Business Masters Awards 2018

Political journalist Nina Warhurst has been confirmed as the host of the Business Masters Awards 2018.

Warhurst presents the Sunday Politics show in the North West, where she is the BBC’s business editor for the North.

She said: “I’m delighted to have been invited back to host the Business Masters Awards.  It’s always a great opportunity to celebrate the dynamic range of businesses and ideas across our amazing region.

“As the BBC’s new national business correspondent based in the North, it’s an exciting chance to hear about what’s in store for the year ahead, and raise a glass to what’s been achieved.”

The experienced journalist will join TheBusinessDesk.com’s Alex Turner and Kayley Worsley in presenting the awards at the dinner which takes place on Thursday, April 26 at the Queens Hotel, Leeds.

Hitachi Capital is the headline sponsor and the awards are also being supported by Clarion, Rahman Ravelli and Together Money. Network Marketing is this year’s drinks sponsor, while the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery is the Toast Sponsor.
