Business Masters Awards ‘among most prestigious in the region’ says law firm’s managing partner
The joint managing partner of Leeds-based law firm Clarion has hailed the Business Masters Awards as “among the most prestigious in the region”.
Roger Hutton’s comments come as entries for this year’s black tie dinner, which will be held on Thursday April 26 at The Queens Hotel in Leeds, close on Friday.
Last year, Clarion won the Professional Services category.

Hutton said: “As well as raising our profile with clients and potential clients, it’s always good for team morale to have everyone’s hard work and commitment recognised with an award.
“The Business Masters are among the most prestigious in the region and we were very proud to be chosen as the winner of the professional services category.
“We’re always pleased to be part of any initiative which celebrates the great business being done here in Yorkshire.”
Two new awards have been added to the programme this year – Innovation and Turnaround. Altogether, businesses can enter into up to 12 awards categories.
The headline sponsor for this year’s event is Hitachi Capital. Awards sponsors are Clarion, Rahman Ravelli Solicitors and Together Money. Drinks are sponsored by Network Marketing and the Toast Sponsor is Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery.
Our judging panel this year, tasked with the hard job of judging from the five firms shortlisted in each category, comprises well-known business leaders from across Yorkshire.
They include Professor George Lodorfos of Leeds Beckett University and Dean of the Leeds Business School, Ken Cooke, the Master Cutler of Sheffield, and former winner of the Business Masters Award in the large business category, TheBigWord’s deputy CEO Diane Cheesbrough.
