Harrogate training provider secures contract extension with global refrigeration firm

A Harrogate-based training provider, which has clients who include ASDA, The Co-Op and Hermes, has won a major contract extension with a global trading group.

Family-run Quarterdeck’s contract extension comes after client Beijer Ref named Quarterdeck its UK and Ireland supplier of the year.

John Billson, MD at Beijer Ref, said: “As the managing director of the largest UK refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaling group I am constantly looking at ways of keeping well ahead of the competition.

“My team is the biggest asset I have and investing in training is paramount to success. Quarterdeck have always exceeded my high expectations in the development of my team.”

Beijer Ref, the largest refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaling group in the UK, first approached Quarterdeck in 2016.

So far, 25 Beijer Ref employees have benefited from Quarterdeck’s leadership and communications training with its senior management scheduled to undertake the courses in the summer.
