Travel specialist relocates to Bruntwood’s Platform

Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific travel specialist Austravel has announced its relocation to Bruntwood’s Platform building in Leeds.
Austravel has agreed a six-year lease on a 2,763 sq ft unit on the fourth floor of the 13-storey building, as it moves from Brunswick Court where it has been based for around 20 years.
The company’s 26-strong team moved into the building last month.
Lesley Rollo, managing director, Austravel and Hayes & Jarvis, said: “We are pleased to announce the relocation of Austravel’s Leeds team to Platform. As well as providing a new and innovative workspace for Austravel, we are also delighted to welcome part of the Hayes & Jarvis team, another one of our sister companies, to the building as well. This move represents a very exciting time for our brands as we continue to grow our business in the area.”
The deal was brokered by LSH.
Rachel Vickers, surveyor at LSH’s Leeds office, said: “Austravel’s relocation to Platform will provide the business with a significantly higher quality office accommodation. The first-class working environment and highly accessible location will enable them to enact a positive change to their business. We wish them all the best in their new premises.”
The 120,000 sq ft grade A office building, which is owned and managed by serviced office specialist Bruntwood, underwent an extensive redevelopment in 2016.
Other occupiers include digital design house Lightstar, Shoosmiths and Allsop.
