Traffic Alert: Diversions in place on M62 following crash

The M62 in Leeds is closed eastbound between J29 and J30 due to a crash.

All emergency services are currently on scene and the incident is being led by West Yorkshire Police, Highways England said.

A diversion route is in place using the solid square symbol:

Exit the M62 at J29 and use the free flow link and merge on to the M1 northbound,
Proceed along the M1 for approximately 3 miles to J44, 
At J44 take the 4th exit on to the A639 for approximately 2 miles to the roundabout with the A642, 
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A642 follow for approximately 1 mile to the junction with the M62 J30,
Take the first exit to rejoin M62 East. 

Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journey this afternoon.
