Family firm’s strategic land division builds up successful first year

The strategic land division of family-run construction and property development giant Caddick Group has reported a strong first year with a pipeline of over 5,000 homes and 8m sq ft of commercial industrial space.
Caddick Land was launched in July last year, as a division of Yorkshire based developer Caddick Construction. It is now promoting a pipeline of over 5,000 homes throughout England, including a new village in Harrogate and houses in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Gloucestershire.
The business also has opportunities close to Bristol, Coventry and Bromsgrove, which collectively will provide over 500 homes that are in earlier stages of the planning process.
Caddick Land has also secured agreements over land capable of delivering over 8m sq ft of commercial industrial space and is actively promoting it through the planning system for delivery over the short to medium term.
Headed up by Chris Procter, Caddick Land offers site assembly, negotiation and promotion as well as planning services.
Procter said: “Having launched just under a year ago, we’ve managed to assemble an impressive portfolio of sites that we have at various stages of planning, building momentum behind the business and extending the reach of the wider Caddick Group into the Midlands and South of England while also helping landowner maximising their returns.”
