Aftermarket solutions supplier expands with new West Yorkshire base

Alliance Transport Technologies (ATT), the aftermarket solutions provider, has announced plans to establish a new base in Normanton, Wakefield.

The Chesterfield-based firm is setting up new premises in order to enhance its end-to-end aftermarket solution, which caters for the bus, coach and commercial vehicle markets.

The new 1,400 sq ft unit, which is situated on Normanton Industrial Estate, will primarily be the base for ATT’s parts function.

The site will be the home to a dedicated team of parts specialists, who will deliver a range of more than 1,100 new parts lines for buses, coaches and commercial vehicles. It will also house the aftersales support function.

The launch of the new site follows on from ATT undergoing a rebrand from Alliance Electronics, for which it had been known for more than 25 years.

Established in 1993, Alliance Electronics has expanded its services from the remanufacturing of electronics for the bus, coach and commercial vehicle markets to offering a full range of aftermarket solutions, thus rebranding itself as Alliance Transport Technologies.

Stuart Raikes, director at Alliance Transport Technologies, said: “The new site in Normanton demonstrates our commitment to delivering an all-round aftermarket solution.

“Not only will we provide a large selection of high-quality, cost-effective new and remanufactured vehicle parts for a range of industries, but we can also offer superior, on-site support to operators thanks to our specialist field service managers, and specialist recruitment function.

“We have ambitious growth plans and the launch of the new Normanton facility is just one of the ways in which we can demonstrate our commitment to becoming the industry’s go-to aftermarket solutions provider.”

Alliance Transport Technologies specialises in offering aftermarket products and services for the bus, coach and commercial vehicle industries.
