Weekender: Pitcher & Piano to officially open newest city centre venue

Pitcher & Piano will officially open its doors in Sheffield on Friday 19 October following a launch party.

The new venue is housed in the former National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) Building, on Holly Street.

This will be eighteenth site in the UK for the brand, alongside venues in York, Nottingham, Harrogate, Birmingham and Newcastle.

Colin Sadler, managing director of Pitcher & Piano, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our brand-new site in Sheffield. The former NUM building offers a unique character, in line with our other beautifully designed bars across the country.

“Sheffield is a brilliant, vibrant city steeped in culture. Our latest site is stone’s throw from City Hall and the city’s famous theatre complex.

“We hope it will become an after-work favourite for the people of Sheffield. We look forward to welcoming you into our new home!”
