Construction firm completes move to 10,000 sq ft of space at Paradigm

Wates Construction has completed the move to its new office at Paradigm in Thorpe Park, Leeds.

The construction firm now occupies 10,275 sq ft of space across the building’s entire first floor on a ten-year lease.

A team of 45 will occupy the new space, which boasts a capacity for 70 to accommodate future business growth.

Wates said the relocation from Leeds Valley Park is part of a new drive to grow the business’ project portfolio in Yorkshire and the North East in 2019.

Paul Dodsworth, regional managing director of Wates Construction North, said: “2018 has been a fantastic year for Wates, with our highlights including the start of construction on the latest phase of MEPC’s Wellington Place and the handover of two fantastic schools projects, Copley Primary and Moorside Community Primary on behalf of Calderdale Council, to name just a few.

“It is a really exciting time for us as we take up occupancy of our new office at Thorpe Park, which gives us a great base to build upon our exceptional work across the region as we move into the New Year.

“Space Invaders interior design team were given a brief to create a contemporary but comfortable office, where the team can thrive. The result is a dynamic office space, complete with hot-desking facilities, training rooms and break out spaces, that is future-proofed for expansion.”
