Law firm expands to 14 offices following latest merger

Law firm Ramsdens Solicitors has completed a merger with Huddersfield-based Holroyd & Co.

The newly combined firm will comprise 14 offices and 300 members of staff.

Located in Huddersfield since 2985, Holroyd & Co is a private client and commercial practice specialising in conveyancing, wills and probate, family law, civil litigation, and commercial property.

This is the second merger Ramsdens has undertaken in the last 12 months, having merged with York-based Burn & Co in March 2018.

Paul Joyce, managing partner at Ramsdens, said: “This is another significant step in the development of the firm and consolidates our existing Yorkshire presence, giving us a strong platform for continued growth and the combined firm will enable us to provide even more value to our clients.”
