Accountancy firm Garbutt + Elliott has appointed Becky Maguire as its Business Tax Partner

Garbutt + Elliott’s Business Tax team is on target this year to have grown its fee income by 50% since 2016.

The appointment of a new Tax Partner demonstrates the firm’s ongoing commitment to provide its clients with the best expert advice, exceptional service and real added value.

In her new role, Maguire will be leading a team of eight business tax specialists

Maguire joins Garbutt + Elliott after nearly 20 years with PwC where she led the delivery of tax services to businesses ranging from owner managed to the largest listed companies throughout the region.

Her experience means she can navigate the complexities of tax for her clients and help them access the right opportunities and plan appropriately.

SSG Insight, the Wakefield-based workplace management solutions provider, has announced three new senior appointments.

The firm has promoted Jon Moody to Chief Executive Officer to lead the team in Europe; James MacPherson to Chief Executive Officer for the ASPAC region and Simon Keane to Chief Finance Director.

SSG Insight’s new appointments follow a year of business growth, which includes adding over 50 new companies to its portfolio of clients.

Other milestones for the firm include the launch of Agility B.I and Agility 9, both of which are tools in a new era of delivering key performance insights.

The three new directors will continue to lead the global team at SSG Insight.

Fraser Morgan, the Huddersfield-headquartered residential developer, has made two new appointments to its team.

Jodie Nolan has joined the business as Finance Manager and Megan Askam has been appointed as Sales Administrator.

Nolan previously worked for student-living operator Unite Students overseeing finance and procurement for individual developments. She also worked in the account management team for oil and lubricants manufacturer, Miller Oils.

Askam joins Fraser Morgan on business apprenticeship straight from Kirklees College in Huddersfield. Her role at Fraser Morgan will involve client and investor relations, sales management and data analysis.

Journey further, the Leeds-based performance marketing agency, has announced five new appointments to its PR & SEO offering.

This announcement follows on from the agency turning over more than £200k in the last three months.

Vic Morton has been appointed to the role of PR Manager, whilst Krissy Semonella, Gabriella Smith, Tanya Oates and Will Dale have all joined as PR Strategists.
