Casino night will crown the winner Yorkshire Business of Poker Champion

Preparations are underway for the inaugural Business of Poker Charity Tournament to be hosted by Banana Kick and TheBusinessDesk.com later this month.

Set to take place on Tuesday 30 April, at Victoria Gate Casino, the evening will see the business community come together for a fun night of networking over the poker table – all in the name of charity. All proceeds will be donated to the Leeds Community Foundation.

One individual will be named Yorkshire Business of Poker Champion at the event, which will be held 5.30pm-10.30pm. Tickets are priced at £37.50 per player and are now available online – with all money raised going towards the foundation.

The event, jointly hosted by TheBusinessDesk.com and Banana Kick, will see players each receive a welcome drink, complimentary refreshments and playing chips. They will then take a place at the poker table and play Texas Hold’em, the world’s most popular poker game.

Lee-J Walker, joint MD at TheBusinessDesk.com, said: “We are looking forward to hosting this event, which is something a bit different in our varied events calendar. The evening promises to be a relaxed networking opportunity with business people across Yorkshire, all to raise vital funds for a great charity. And with the chance to be named Yorkshire Business of Poker Champion, there may even just be a bit of friendly competition!”
