Leeds financial services recruiter invests in London office

Leeds financial recruiters BWD have invested in a new permanent office in London.

BWD, who are based on Park Place in Leeds, have launched their London office on Gray’s Inn Road. They said this provides links to both the City and the West End.

The company was founded in 2006 by directors Alistair Brownlee, James Walker and Gareth Davies.

They now offer recruitment services to seven sectors: regulatory, risk and compliance, wealth management, pensions and benefits, sales and distribution, change management, actuarial and specialist finance & lending.

James Walker, managing director, BWD (pictured) said: “Expanding our London presence with an additional permanent head office, has been in the planning for some time.

“This provides BWD the platform to grow our London team and continue to support our partners in the capital with the excellent service they deserve.

“These are very exciting times for BWD and looking forward to working on the next phase of our development.”

Alex Searle, sales director, Hampshire Trust Bank said: “BWD are one of our leading recruitment partners, who have provided HTB with some excellent candidates.

“By having a new London presence, it provides the opportunity to discuss our plans and requirements for positions when required, growing our already excellent relationship. We are excited to have BWD here.”
