Speculative plans for 100,000 sq ft industrial sites submitted

Two units are set to be speculatively built at the Aero Centre Yorkshire after planning applications were submitted.

Trebor Developments and commercial and residential real estate developer Hillwood submitted a reserved matters planning application for the scheme, following an exchange of contracts with Peel Land and Property.

The units of 45,876 sq ft and 59,159 sq ft will be developed over the next 12 months.

The Aero Centre Yorkshire at Doncaster Sheffield Airport is home to 100 businesses.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner for Trebor Developments, commented: “We look forward to working with the planning authority and other representatives to secure planning and proceeding with speculative development thereafter to deliver mid-range quality units, which will be attractive to a wide range of occupiers.”

Trebor Developments and Hillwood are represented by Knight Frank and Commercial Property Partners, Sheffield offices.
