Irwin Mitchell creates dispute team

LAW firm Irwin Mitchell has brought together its commercial litigation lawyers to form one of the largest dispute resolution teams in South Yorkshire.

The 20-lawyer strong team will by led by partner Steven Beahan who becomes head of commercial litigation at the firm’s Sheffield office.

Mr Beahan trained with Irwin Mitchell and has a 16 year career at the firm which has included developing its 24/7 legal helpline for businesses and institutions.

He said: “Our business is problem solving and anticipating potential future hurdles for clients. We’re now one of the largest commercial litigation teams in the region covering a wide range of disputes.

“Mediation is very important to us and we seek wherever possible to help people come to an understanding before court procedures are necessary.”
