Plumbing supplies business moves into 6,200 sq ft commercial unit

A plumbing and heating supplies firm has taken on a 6,200 sq ft (576 sq m) property in Huddersfield.

Duftons Plumbing & Heating Supplies has signed for a 10-year lease at a double unit in St Andrews Court, Leeds Road.

The firm is moving into a space spread across two units, which offer contemporary industrial accommodation with additional office space and a large shared yard.

The site is also suitable for trade counter and light industrial uses, and there is potential for mezzanine installation.

Duftons is a regional plumbing supplies company, which has eight outlets across Yorkshire.

National property consultancy Carter Jonas let the St Andrews Court unit to Duftons, on behalf of a private landlord.

Matt Bredin, Senior Surveyor at Carter Jonas, said: “Huddersfield is rising in popularity as a commercial hub and has good quality workspaces for both large and small occupiers.
