Deal signals communications company’s expansion into another overseas market

The delivery of a group-wide communication system for a global professional search and recruitment organisation has taken Leeds telephony, internet and mobile firm The Technology Group into its 24th overseas market.

The Technology Group (TTG) is completing the project for the SR Group, which is headquartered in the UK but operates through an international network across nine countries. The design and commissioning of its new telephone system by The Technology Group has been delivered in stages across all global offices. In total, The Technology Group will provide over 300 telephone handsets across 14 offices in nine countries.

The first three project phases included the system rollout to SR Group offices across the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Phase four is currently underway, covering offices in Australia and Singapore. A fifth and final phase is planned for 2020 in the Middle East.

TTG Sales Director Nick Deacon-Elliot said: “One of the key drivers for this project was to standardise the telephony strategy across the SR Group.

“The other was to provide a system capable of supporting future business growth. Given the speed of change and growth within the business, the new platform had to support the company in areas such as agile working and global expansion into new countries and markets.

“The new, private hosted telephone system provides the group with high quality audio, video conferencing, call recording and an app for remote workers, as well as access to a range of time-saving technologies. It has already helped facilitate communication within the business, and has given the group a solid, scalable platform that can be more efficient supporting future expansion plans.

“I’m really proud of the work our team has done on one of our largest international projects to date. We’re delivering a system that is providing fantastic results for the SR Group and helping the business continue to grow.”
