Global automotive firm secures 35,000 sq ft York letting

ETAS, an innovative solutions provider for the automotive industry, has secured 35,000 sq ft of space at one of York’s largest available office buildings – letting the building inits entirety.

Relocating from existing offices in York, ETAS, has agreed a 15 year lease on the entire building, which provides office accommodation over the ground, 1st and 2nd floors. Alexander House offered a range of large efficient floor plates ideal for ETAS’ specific requirements, and rarely found within such a short distance of York City Centre.

Alexander House is situated on Hospital Fields Road on the fringe of York City Centre, within a 20-minute walk of York Train Station. Following a comprehensive refurbishment, the building now boasts a contemporary reception and common areas, shower facilities on each floor, 95 on-site car parking spaces, an electric car charging point and 80 cycle spaces.

CBRE’s Leeds office agency team concluded the deal on the circa 35,000 sq ft building on behalf of Columbia Threadneedle.
