Relocation enables IT asset disposal company’s growth plans

A South Yorkshire-based ITAD (IT Asset Disposal) company has invested over £250,000 in a new state-of-the-art facility.

S2S Group, which was established in 1989, specialises in providing solutions for corporate data security for a range of clients from SMEs to large blue-chip organisations such as banks and financial institutions where data protection is of particular importance.

It chose its 30,000 sq ft site at Manvers, Rotherham, to enhance its business operations and provide a secure processing facility that would support all elements of its service portfolio to an ever-increasing range of customers.

Director Grant Barton said; “S2S continues to be recognised as one of the leading companies in IT processing, and we are attracting more and more blue chip clients who demand the highest standards of secure processing. We had to plan for future, ongoing growth and our new facility gives us the capability to more than double our current processing volumes.”

He explained the investment has enabled S2S to purpose model and streamline its processes and warehouse capability to more efficiently handle increased volumes in all areas of its core business.

The firm’s work includes data erasure and destruction, IT and mobile devices recycling and disposal, ‘live’ asset tracking and repair and resale options. The company has its own secure transport system and a fully alarmed warehouse with 24-hour CCTV coverage.

Barton added: “This is the perfect location for us to continue our ambitious and achievable expansion plans and we are proud to join other prosperous businesses that operate from the Manvers Business Park.”
