Footwear retailer launching newest store
Value footwear retailer Shoe Zone will be opening a big box store in Thorpe Park, Leeds on Saturday 12 October, with a full launch day planned for 19 October. The Thorpe Park store will be Shoe Zone’s 40th big box store.
The store will create 11 jobs for the city, with a further three internal promotions. The business is planning to open seven additional out-of-town outlets before the end of 2019, taking the total to 45.
Shoe Zone now stocks a range of well known brands including Rieker, Skechers, Heavenly Feet and many more. The store also stocks Shoe Zone’s own brand range.
Hannah Tomlinson, head of store marketing at Shoe Zone, said: “We are very excited to be opening our 40th branded store in Thorpe Park, Leeds. This is our 22nd big box store opening this financial year, which is a great achievement for Shoe Zone, taking our total number of bases in the UK to 502.
“We hope that our customers like what’s on offer and we look forward to welcoming them into our new store.”
