Turnover hits £7m for business communications specialist

Wakefield-based business communications firm NGC Networks has grown its turnover to £7m and is targeting £10m within the next two years.

The company attributed its 2018-2019 success to a mixture of organic growth and new client wins.

It provides business telecommunications and internet connectivity solutions to companies across the North of England and employs 45 people from its base at Calder Park.

The business is run by directors Nikki Guest and Dean Harrop. Guest said: “We are investing in our people and processes in the next 12 months to achieve further growth of the business.

“Our success is built on working with our clients to enable them to take advantage of the latest technologies to improve customer service levels and boost productivity within their own businesses.

“We have seen significant growth in our NGC Mobile division which was launched three years ago and now accounts for almost 20% of our turnover. We have also grown our presence in the education sector and are benefiting from businesses investing in their own digital transformation which includes the move to cloud technology.

“As the telecoms and IT marketplaces become more converged, we are well placed to provide businesses with fully integrated solutions underpinned by first class customer support services.”

NGC Networks has teamed up with CityFibre to deliver ultrafast full fibre connectivity to businesses in Wakefield. NGC is also helping to deliver gigabit internet speeds to companies in Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, York and Hull.

The company’s expanding portfolio of clients includes Lupton Fawcett, Freeman Grattan Holdings, Harrison Spinks, Timpson, Manning Stainton, Puma UK, The Car People and Sharp Business Systems. NGC also works with many academies, schools and medical centres.
