Hortor, a global strategic resourcing agency with offices in Leeds and London, has completed a £400,000 investment in technology, property and operating entities, doubling its size and extending its international profile.

Attracting 12 new recruits to support customers in Slovakia, Malaysia, North America, South Africa and throughout Europe, the company has expanded in line with projections as it sets out plans to maintain this momentum in the next 12 months.

The company has increased its billings by 78% as it continues to provide clients with a consultative approach to recruitment and talent acquisition across sectors such as finance, technology, media and telecommunications, utilities, government and retail.

Joint CEO of Hortor, Andy Roe, said: “Having the right technology, processes, procedures and people in place is absolutely fundamental if we are to meet with our ambitious expansion plans in the years ahead.

“Finding people that are the right fit for our organisation was really important to us and building a culture that we feel is reflective of our approach and attitude. This took time and money, but we are pleased with the results. It was the right thing to do.

“Completing this investment is the first phase of a wider strategy for the Hortor business. We have never wanted to be your typical recruiter and that is why getting the model right will give us the template we need to scale up.”

He added the focus for the organisation is now to expand its teams and offices in Leeds and London, while introducing a graduate training programme to provide new recruits with the understanding they need to become the best and establish their careers with the business.

In the next two years, Hortor will recruit more than 15 graduates and will continue with its international expansion.
