Trio of new arrivals at major shopping centre

White Rose Shopping Centre is welcoming three new arrivals: The Escapologist escape room, Wrapchic Indian-inspired wraps, and Leeds United’s Official Club Store.

Escape room specialist The Escapologist is opening this month with a series of fun, themed rooms, including ‘The Game That Shall Not Be Named’ and ‘Sherlocked In’.

There are rooms suitable for ages eight and above, and The Escapologist will create seasonally-themed events including ‘The Escapologist’s Christmas Experience’. The venue also hosts its own steampunk-themed bar, and offers corporate team-building activities.

Wrapchic prides itself on being ‘differently Indian’.

Formed from a love for both Indian and Mexican flavours, the founder merged the two to create the first Wrapchic stall in 2012. Offering wraps, bowls, curry pots, and more, Wrapchic boasts a variety of delicious options – including vegetarian and gluten-free, and will open its doors in the coming weeks.

The city’s newest Leeds United club store has now opened at White Rose. Just minutes from Elland Road, the store opens in the club’s centenary year and will offer the latest season kits as well as branded fashion and gifts and a kit personalisation service.

Steven Foster, general manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “We’re delighted to welcome these diverse and upcoming openings – there’s something for everyone, from leisure to food and sporting fashion.

“These brilliant new venues complement our existing variety of retailers and restaurants, and we’re excited to hear our visitors’ feedback on these new additions.”

White Rose, which is owned and operated by Landsec, provides 850,000 sq ft of store space in the south of Leeds and is home to more than 100 leading retailers and restaurants.
